Latecomers or those who step out of the theatre during a performance will be seated at the discretion of the house staff at appropriate breaks in the performance.
While all of our shows at the Lewis Family Playhouse are appropriate for general audiences, it is important to know that some of our programs are not appropriate for younger members of the family. To assist you in making informed decisions about age appropriate shows that your children will enjoy and to ensure a pleasant experience for all, please check show information for age recommendations. Sorry, no babies in arms allowed and no strollers permitted in the theatre.
All audience members, regardless of age, are required to have a ticket and must be able to sit in their own seat. Performances presented in the Lewis Family Playhouse are not recommended for children under the age of 3. No babies are allowed. Also, at no time are strollers permitted in the theatre. No children under the age of 12 are admitted without an adult.
No food or beverage of any kind is permitted inside the Lewis Family Playhouse. Concession items may be sold in the lobby during the seating and intermission periods but will not be allowed past the ticket booths that lead into the auditorium. For patrons who have just had lunch or dinner and may be carrying leftovers, the Front of House staff is more than happy to store your food items in our concessions area. Stored food items may be collected after the performance.
Photography (including "flash" and "non-flash") and Videography are not permitted inside the Lewis Family Playhouse. Patrons who are found using cameras or recording devices will be asked to delete any material recorded during their visit prior to having the equipment confiscated by the Front of House staff.
Cell Phones, Pagers, Bluetooths, and Hand-Held Gaming devices are to be turned off prior to entering the Lewis Family Playhouse. Cell Phone usage is especially prohibited! Usage includes but is not limited to talking, texting, gaming, etc. Patrons who are found using any of these devices during the performance will be asked to cease their disruptive action and may be asked to leave.
Smoking is not permitted at the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center indoor or outdoor. Smokers may smoke on the sidewalk closest to Cultural Center Drive on the North side of the facility.
Alcohol may be provided at select Lewis Family Playhouse performances. All alcoholic beverages must remain inside the lobby and may not travel anywhere else in the facility including Celebration Hall, the Paul A. Biane Library or Imagination Courtyard.
