Spotlight on the RC

Each year, the City of Rancho Cucamonga creates a talent showcase for ten lucky local performers who are featured in a production presented on the Lewis Family Playhouse stage. This event is created with local directors incorporating the specific talents of the ten finalists and includes an opening and closing number with all the finalists.

After the initial auditions, twenty performers are selected for a semi-final round. The final ten showcased performers are then chosen for the one night only performance. The Spotlight on the RC performers receive a professional video tape of their performance courtesy of BlueSilver Video Productions, professional head shots by AF Photo Design, make up and hair styling for photos and the performance by Jade Salon, a professional audio recording of their performance and the live stage performance at the Lewis Family Playhouse.

Audition dates for the 2010 Spotlight on the RC will take place February 18, 2010 and March 22, 2010. Those chosen as the ten finalists will commit to a brief rehearsal process and the final showcase for 2010 will be held on Friday May 28, 2010.
